Refund methods
Refunds are reviewed by the Dream Aesthetic by Dr. Ortiz team based on the treatment, payment method, clinical context, and the reason for the request. Some refunds may be issued as clinic credit, while others may return to the original payment method or require manual processing.
Financed purchases (Care Credit, Cherry, and similar lenders)
If you financed your purchase through a third-party lender such as Care Credit or Cherry, refunds are processed differently:
- Your refund will be applied directly to your loan or account balance with the lender.
- Refunds typically post within 1 to 3 business days, though timing depends on the lender's policies.
- We cannot issue cash or store credit refunds on financed purchases except in extraordinary circumstances. Such overrides require owner-level approval and your written acknowledgment of the consequences. You may still owe the lender for the original purchase.
- If your loan is already paid in full at the time of refund, the lender may issue a separate refund check directly to you. This is the lender's policy and timing is at their discretion.

Compras financiadas (Care Credit, Cherry y prestamistas similares)
Si financió su compra a través de un prestamista externo como Care Credit o Cherry, los reembolsos se procesan de manera diferente:
- Su reembolso se aplicará directamente al saldo de su préstamo o cuenta con el prestamista.
- Los reembolsos generalmente se procesan en 1 a 3 días hábiles, aunque el tiempo depende de las políticas del prestamista.
- No podemos emitir reembolsos en efectivo o crédito de la tienda en compras financiadas excepto en circunstancias extraordinarias. Tales excepciones requieren aprobación del propietario y su reconocimiento por escrito de las consecuencias. Es posible que aún deba al prestamista por la compra original.
- Si su préstamo ya está pagado en su totalidad al momento del reembolso, el prestamista puede emitirle un cheque de reembolso por separado. Esta es la política del prestamista y el tiempo es a su discreción.
